My name is Kevin Skindell and I am proud to call Erie home and would love the opportunity to help you do the same.
I am a graduate of McDowell High school and Gannon University (BS) with concentrations in advertising and marketing. I was a varsity letterman in wrestling at McDowell, and competed for two years on Gannon’s Division II Wrestling team. I am also a graduate of Gannon’s Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC).
I am a proud veteran, with enlisted service in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and commissioned service in the US Army. I was a public affairs officer for both the 3rd Infantry Division, and 10th Mountain Division while deployed to Iraq and trained officers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan upon my return to the US.
While I loved the military it kept me away from my family and Erie which is why I could never make it my career.
Since my return home I’ve strived to be active in our community most recently as managing partner of a local sporting goods store that focused on fundraising for charitable clubs and organizations. I am also a five year board member of the Circus Saints and Sinners, Dan Rice Tent whose mission is to fundraise and help those in need in Erie county. In my free time I enjoy working out and being football and soccer dad to my sons JJ, and Alex along with my wife Julie.
